I got into welding because I wanted to start an apprenticeship trade to support my young family. Before starting Magnum Steel Inc., I worked in other welding shops and did oil field work. My favorite welding method is MIG since it’s fast and efficient. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, dirt biking, and boating.

I’m a SAIT marketing graduate and recently joined Magnum Steel Inc. as the marketing manager. Before this, I ran my own dayhome business for six years, but saw an opportunity to help grow Magnum’s brand, so I returned to school to make it happen. In my free time, I enjoy camping, horseback riding, and reading.

Allison brings over two decades of sales and business development experience to our team, Known for her genuine approach, you'll often find Alli out in the field connecting with new prospects and strengthening existing client relationships. Off the clock, she's a busy and proud Grandma who loves spending time with friends and family. Her energy, warmth, and dedication shine through everything she does - both at work and at home

I got into welding through school and because my dad is a journeyman welder—it runs in the family. Before joining Magnum Steel Inc., I worked at a seed plant, mixing and bagging seeds. My favorite welding method is stick welding since it takes real skill, burns hotter, and gives a cleaner finish. In my free time, I enjoy camping, dirt biking, building things, and working on mechanics. Vroom vroom!

Before joining Magnum Steel Inc., I worked as a ranch hand, spending my days farming, working cattle, fencing, and handling whatever needed doing around the ranch. I originally got into the welding trade because school just wasn’t the right fit for me, and welding offered a hands-on path that felt natural. Over the years, MIG welding has become my preferred technique—I enjoy the control, efficiency, and versatility it offers on a wide range of projects. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hunting or involved in the rodeo, two hobbies that keep me grounded and connected to the lifestyle I grew up with.

I’ve always enjoyed building things, which naturally led me to the welding trade. Before starting Magnum Steel Inc., I worked for a pipefitting company as well as construction of  interior and exterior residential developments My favorite welding method is TIG because it’s precise, accurate, and visually clean. In my free time, I enjoy hockey, golfing, hiking, walking, and traveling.

With over 25 years in marketing communications, I’ve always admired the trades and enjoy applying my skills in a new industry. My background as a journalist fuels my curiosity (read: snoopiness) and makes meeting people from all walks of life especially fun. In my spare time, I enjoy people-watching, reading, and spending time with my dog and my horse.

I got into welding back in high school and knew then it was the career I wanted to pursue. Before joining Magnum Steel Inc., I fabricated flat decks. My favorite welding method is TIG because it’s challenging but produces high-quality welds. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, drawing, and welding.

I got into welding through school—I really enjoyed the class and it sparked my interest in the trade. Before starting at Magnum Steel Inc., I worked on the maintenance crew at a golf course. My favorite welding method is stick welding because it makes me feel like I’m on a pipeline crew. ;-) Outside of work, I enjoy dirt biking and playing basketball.

I got into welding after helping my grandpa restore my first truck, a 1988 F150. That experience led me to take welding in school and pursue it as a career. Before Magnum Steel Inc., I worked at a structural shop in Calgary and earned a Welding Engineering Technology diploma from SAIT, along with my CWB Level 1 certification. I enjoy stick welding for its versatility and TIG for its precision. In my free time, I like working out, hiking, camping, and playing volleyball.
